There are a total of 3 acceleration sensors in the vehicle
that measure vehicle acceleration and communicate with the ECS ECU. The
ECS ECU calculates the vertical vibration speed, pitch vibration speed,
and roll vibration speed through the body vertical acceleration signals
received from the body G sensors. It then uses this data to control the
damping force and restrict the vibrations in the vehicle.
Mounting position
The G sensors are installed at 3 points in the vehicle, such
as the front left corner (FL), front right corner (FR), and rear left
corner (RL).
