Drain the power steering fluid. |

Remove the front wheel & tire.
Tightening torque :
90.0 ~ 110.0 N.m (9.0 ~ 11.0 kgf.m, 65.0 ~ 80.0 lb-ft)

Loosen the bolt (A) and then disconnect the universal joint assembly from the pinion of the steering gear box.
Tightening Torques :
32.0 ~ 37.0 N.m(3.3 ~ 3.8 kgf.m, 24.0 ~ 27.4 lb-ft)

Keep the neutral-range to prevent the damage of the clock spring inner cable when you handlethe steering wheel. |

Loosen the castle nut.
Tightening torque :
85.0 ~ 110.0 N.m (8.5 ~ 11.0 kgf.m, 62.0 ~ 80.0 lb-ft)

5. |
Disconnect the tie-rod end (A) from the knuckle using a SST (09568-2J100).
Tightening torque :
88.0 ~ 108.0 N.m(9.0 ~ 11.0 kgf.m, 65.0 ~ 80.4 lb-ft)

6. |
Loosen the tube bolts and then disconnect the pressure and return tube. |
7. |
Remove the steering gear box bracket (A) by loosening the bolts.
Tightening torque :
20.0 ~ 30.0 N.m (2.0 ~ 3.0 kgf.m, 15.0 ~ 22.0 lb-ft)

Remove the steering gear box (A) by loosening the bolts.
Tightening torque :
85.0 ~ 110.0 N.m (8.5 ~ 11.0 kgf.m, 62.0 ~ 80.0 lb-ft)

9. |
Installation is the reverse of the removal. |
