Removal |

Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. |

Using a screwdriver or plastic panel remover, remove the cluster fascia upper panel (A). |

Using a screwdriver or plastic panel remover, remove the center fascia upper panel (A). |
4. |
Disconnect the heater control unit connector (A), clock and SSB connector (B). |
5. |
After loosening the screws, remove the heater control unit (A) from the center fascia upper panel. |
Installation |
1. |
Install the heater control unit to the center fascia upper panel. |
2. |
Install the center fascia upper panel. |
3. |
Install the cluster fascia upper panel. |
Inspection |
1. |
Check IPM input/output specification of windshield deicer
switch using the GDS. If the specification is abnormal, replace the
windshield deicer switch module. |
2. |
Select option "Input/output monitoring". |
3. |
To check the input value of windshield deicer switch in force mode, select option "Actuation test". |
