Inspection
1.
Turn the ignition switch ON.
2.
Blow warm air into the in-car sensor air inlet. Measure the sensor resistance between 1 and 3 terminals.

An in-car sensor is a negative type thermistor. The resistance will rise with lower temperature, and reduce with higher temperature.
Replacement
1.
Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
2.
Remove the crash pad center panel.
(Refer to Body - "Crash Pad Center Panel")
3.
Remove the in-car sensor (A).

4.
Install in the reverse order of removal.
