Water Pump |

Disconnect the negative terminal (A) from the battery.

Remove the air duct, air intake hose and the air cleaner assembly.
(Refer to Engine and transaxle assembly in this group) |

Loosen the drain plug (A) and drain the engine coolant. Remove the radiator cap (B) to speed draining.
|
4. |
Disconnect the radiator upper hose (A) and lower hose (B). |
5. |
Turn the tensioner (B) clockwise and loosen, then remove the drive belt (A). |
6. |
Remove the water pump pulley (A).
|
7. |
Remove the water pump (A).
|
8. |
Installation is reverse order of removal. |

Remove the intake manifold module.

Remove the injector & rail assembly.

Remove the water outlet pipe (A) and the water inlet pipe (B).
