Inspection
1.
Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
2.
Remove the lower crash panel and then disconnect the rheostat connector.

3.
Check for intensity of new rheostat switch. If the light intensity of the lamps changes smoothly without any flickering when the rheostat is turned, it can be assumed that the rheostat is normal.

Removal
1.
Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
2.
Remove the lower crash panel (A).
(Refer to Body - "Crash Pad Lower Pannel")
3.
Remove the crash pad switch assembly (A) after loosening the screws.

4.
Remove the rheeostat switch assembly (A) from lower crash panel.

Installation
1.
Install the rheostat switch to the switch assembly.
2.
Install the switch assembly.
3.
Install the lower crash panel.
