Inspection |

Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. |
2. |
Remove the lower crash panel and then disconnect the rheostat connector. |
3. |
Check for intensity of new rheostat switch. If the light
intensity of the lamps changes smoothly without any flickering when the
rheostat is turned, it can be assumed that the rheostat is normal. |
Removal |
1. |
Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. |
2. |
Remove the lower crash panel (A).

Remove the crash pad switch assembly (A) after loosening the screws. |
4. |
Remove the rheeostat switch assembly (A) from lower crash panel. |
Installation |

Install the rheostat switch to the switch assembly. |

Install the switch assembly. |
3. |
Install the lower crash panel. |
