Remove the rear wheel & tire.

Disconnect the rear shock absorber (A) from the rear axle by loosening the bolt.
|
3. |
Loosen the mounting bolt (A) and then remove the rear shock absorber.
|
4. |
Installation is the reverse of removal. |
Inspection |
1. |
Check the components for damage or deformation. |
2. |
Compress and extend the piston rod (A) and check that there is no abnormal resistance or unusual sound during operation. |

Fully extend the piston rod. |
2. |
Drill a hole on the (A) section to discharge gas from the cylinder.
